Let \(p: E \to B\) be a Hurewicz fibration and let \(f \colon E \to E\) be a fiber-preserving map with the induced map \(\overline{f} \colon B \to B\). Let \(p_0 \colon E_0 \to B_0\) be a sub-fibration of \(p\), and let \(F_b, F_{0b}\) be the fibers of \(p\) and \(p_{0}\), respectively, over \(b \in Fix(\overline{f})| _{B_0}\). The authors study the relative Reidemeister number \(R(f;E,E_0)\) and the relative Reidemeister number on the complement \(R(f; E-E_0)\). Addition formulas for these invariants are obtained. In addition the authors use \(R(f; E-E_0)\) to estimate the asymptotic Nielsen type number \(NI^\infty(f)\) of a fiber-preserving map \(F\) of a polyhedron.
