Es wird gezeigt, daß die \textit{Euler}sche, \textit{Legendre}sche und \textit{Jacobi}sche Bedingung genügen, im Falle schwacher Variationen (d. h. nicht nur die Variationen, sondern auch ihre Ableitungen aller Ordnung sollen klein sein) ein Maximum oder Minimum zu gewährleisten.
