The author studies invariant subspaces and spectral properties of so- called quasi-focusing plus-operators in spaces with indefinite metric [for the terminology see e.g. \textit{Ju. L. Daletskij}/\textit{M. G. Kreijn}: Stability of solutions of differential equations in Banach spaces (1970; Zbl 0233.34001)]. Moreover, he states a necessary and sufficient condition for an operator A to have a focusing iterate \(A^ p\). Examples are also given.
