This paper is concerned with multiplication ideals in a commutative ring R with identity: an ideal I of R is called a multiplication ideal if for every ideal J of R with \(J\subseteq I\) there exists an ideal K of R such that \(J=IK\). The paper focusses on sums and intersections of finitely generated multiplication ideals, and related matters.
