Smooth solutions of boundary value problems for linear differential-difference equations with several higher terms and constant coefficients in the main part are studied. Conditions on the boundary functions and on the right-hand sides of the equations guaranteeing existence of smooth solutions are stated and it is proved that the Noether type operator corresponding to the problem is of index \(-2\). In the proofs a relation of these problems to the boundary value problems for linear differential equations without retarded argument with nonlocal boundary value conditions is used.
