[For part I see the preceding review, Zbl 0597.92021.] This paper studies the model explained in part I for the special yield- density function \[ Y(x)=K/(C+x)\quad (''reciprocal\quad yield\quad law''). \] More precisely, \(K_ t\) and \(C_ t\) are assumed to be random variables depending on the state of the environment \(\alpha_ t\), so that \(Y=Y(X(t),\alpha_ t)\). The ESS germination strategies G defined in part I are then computed by means of approximations and numerical simulations, for certain specifications of the distribution of \(K_ t\), \(C_ t\). Biological interpretations of the result are also given.
