Integration der Differentialgleichung: \[ x^2 \frac{d^2 y}{dx^2} + (x^2 - 2)y = x^4. \] Man setze zuerst \(- y = x^2 + z\), dann \(z = \frac{u}{x}\), so erhält man \[ x^2 \left( \frac{d^2 u}{dx^2} + u \right) - 2 \frac{du}{dx} = 0. \] Hier setze man \(u=u_1 \sin x + u_2 \cos x,\) so ergiebt sich durch Bestimmung von \(u_1\) und \(u_2\): \[ y = x^2 + \frac{k_1}{x}[x \sin (x + k_2) + \cos (x + k_2)]. \]
