In an earlier paper [ibid. 6, 19-26 (1980; Zbl 0448.65045)] the authors developed criteria for choosing appropriately embedded Runge-Kutta formulae. Here they analyse and test new pairs of Runge-Kutta formulae for different order of accuracy.
