This paper deals with the problem of finding the optimal assignment of given periodical demands over a planning horizon, so that a suitable objective function will be minimized. All deliveries are concentrated into one time unit for each of their time periods and they are located by the central decision maker in order to satisfy given constraints. The objective function considered is the minimization of the capacity of the production center which must satisfy the demands.
