This paper deals with the discrete representation of the efficient set in multiobjective mathematical programming. The author gives a mathematical definition of a discrete representation of efficient sets and for assessing the quality of a given representation he introduces the notions of a coverage error \(\epsilon\) and a uniformity level \(\delta\) measured in a metric \(d\). For computing the values of such quality attributes, mixed integer programming formulations are proposed. The linear case is discussed in a tractable way.
