The existence and computation of competitive equilibria in markets with an indivisible commodity (Q1083355): Difference between revisions

An exchange economy called a generalized assignment market is presented and an existence theorem for a competitive equilibrium is obtained. This existence theorem is applied to a production economy in which sellers are formulated as producers with convex cost functions. The competitive equilibrium is calculated by a fixed point algorithm.
