For the investigation of generic bifurcation of steady states of one- parameter allowing a compact group \(\Gamma\) Hamiltonian systems (the Hamiltonian H is invariant relative to compact Lie group \(\Gamma)\) when the eigenvalues of the linearized system pass through the zero the methods of singularity theory of smooth mappings are used. As applications the Hamiltonian systems with one degree of freedom and symmetry groups \(\mathbf{1}\), \({\mathbb{Z}}_ n\), SO(2) are considered.
