The generalized Frobenius partitions were introduced by Andrews. He proved that \[ c\phi_ p(n)\equiv 0\quad (mod p^ 2)\;if\;p\nmid n,\quad and\quad \equiv c\phi_ 1(n/p)\quad (mod p^ 2)\;if\;p| n \] where \(c\phi_ m(n)\) denotes the number of generalized Frobenius partitions of n with m colors and p is a prime. In this paper this congruence is extended to include all positive values of m to prove \[ \sum_{d| (m,n)}u(d)c\phi_{m/d}(n/d)\equiv 0\quad (mod m^ 2). \] It is also proved that \(\sum_{d| (m,n)}u(d)k\phi_{m/d}(n/d)\) satisfies the same congruence, where \(k\phi_ m(n)\) denotes the number of generalized Frobenius partitions of n with m colors with repetitions.
