Using dimensional reduction the author shows: For each \(n\geq 4\) there exist infinitely many congruence classes of minimal imbeddings of \(S^ 1\times S^{n-2}\) (resp. \(S^ 2\times S^{n-3})\) into \(S^ n(1)\).
