We define a modified free-time evolution for the Dirac equation with long-range potentials \(\beta\) (1/\(| x|)\), where \(\beta\) is the Dirac matrix, and prove a strong asymptotic completeness of the corresponding wave operators. Our methods also work for the magnetic fields \(\alpha\cdot A(x)\).
