The paper contains a careful analysis of the so-called super-minimal 0-holomorphic curves in the 6-dimensional sphere \(S^6\), endowed with its nearly Kähler structure. They were introduced by \textit{R. L. Bryant} [J. Differ. Geom. 17, 185--232 (1982; Zbl 0526.53055)] who constructed them using a twistor-type approach and related them to the solutions of a first-order differential system. Here, the author proposes a more explicit description of those curves, giving in particular access to their induced metric and Gauss curvature, and describes a 1-parameter family of super-minimal 0-holomorphic curves in \(S^6\) which are not congruent under the natural action of \(G_2\).
