In the seventies, L. Nirenberg and F. Treves proposed a so-called condition \( (\psi),\) suggesting that it should be equivalent to local solvability of pseudodifferential equations of principal type in the framework of distributions theory. \textit{N. Lerner} produced in his paper [Ann. Math. (2) 139 No. 2, 363-393 (1994; Zbl 0818.35152)] an example showing that condition \((\psi)\) does not imply \(L^2\) solvability of pseudodifferential equations of principal type with loss of one derivative. The author proved in [Journ. Équ. Dériv. Partielles, St-Jean-de-Monts, Exp. (1996; Zbl 0885.35151) ] that Lerner's counterexample is indeed \(L^2\) solvable, but with loss of two derivatives. The author of this paper gives a generalization of his result of 1996.
