A linear differential equation given by a triple \({\mathcal R}=(M,E,R^ n)\), where M is a manifold and E is a vector bundle over M and \(R^ n\) is a subbundle of the nth jet bundle of E is considered. By the means of the Cartan's method a Cartan connection in the principle bundle and a complete system of differential invariants associated with each linear differential equation are constructed.
