A gauge theory of gravity with respect to the Poincaré group is a degenerate form of the gauge theory of gravity with respect to the de Sitter group and the later one is governed by a gauge theory of gravity with respect to the conformal group SO(4,2). In the present paper the authors construct a Lagrangian for a gauge theory of gravity with respect to SO(4,2). Then they give the generators for a simple conformal Lie superalgebra and obtain a Lagrangian for the simple conformal supergravity. The concept of connection on a principal fiber bundle is the main tool in the study.
