    The authors prove many new analytic and geometric isoperimetric inequalities associated with the solutions of second order ordinary differential equations. They deal with the differential equation \[ S(u). S''(u) = \sum^t_{i = 0} c_i[S'(u)]^i, \] where the \(c_i\)'s are constants with \(c_2 \geq 1\), \(S(u) > 0\), \(S'(u) \neq 0\), \(S''(u) \neq 0\) and \(c_1 S'(u) + c_2[S'(u)]^2 > 0\), for \(u \in (a,b)\). Moreover, if \(t \geq i \geq 3\), they assume that \(c_i \geq 0\) for \(S'(u) > 0\); and \(c_i \geq 0\) for \(i\) even and \(c_i \leq 0\) for \(i\) odd if \(S'(u) < 0\). The study of isoperimetric inequalities is important in geometry and also useful in analysis and mathematical physics.
