Bismut superconnections and the Chern character for Dirac operators on foliated manifolds (Q1904360): Difference between revisions

Bismut superconnection and a nonnormalized Chern character for generalized Dirac operators acting along the leaves of a compact foliated manifold are defined. The analog of the classical cohomological formula for the index of a family of generalized Dirac operators is obtained.
