    L'A. démontre les théorèmes suivants: Soient R un anneau intègre seminormal de caractéristique zéro et I un idéal de l'anneau R[X,Y] tel que \(R[X,Y]/I=R[Z]\). Alors I est un idéal principal et pour F un générateur de I on a \(R[X,Y]=R[F,G]\) pour un \(G\in R[X,Y]\). Soient R un anneau commutatif qui contient un corps de caractéristique zéro et \(F\in R[X,Y]\) tel que \(R[X,Y]/(F)=R[Z]\). Alors \(R[X,Y]=R[F,G]\) pour un \(G\in R[X,Y]\). Un anneau réduit s'appelle seminormal si pour \(b,c\in R\) tels que \(b^ 3=c^ 2\) il existe \(a\in R\) tel que \(a^ 2=b\) et \(a^ 3=c\).
