The well-known Russian mathematician Petr Petrovich Zabrejko has given important contributions to a vast variety of mathematical fields, mainly differential equations, integral equations, functional analysis, operator theory, nonlinear analysis, and approximation methods. In this survey 5 of his friends and collaborators present a detailed account of these contributions which led to the publication of 10 monographs and more than 300 papers.
