    Let \(\Omega\) be a bounded \(C^\infty\)-domain of \(R^n\), \(n\geq 3\), and \(X_t\) be a Brownian motion on \(\Omega\) with absorbing boundary. For \(2\theta \in (0,1)\) and \(p \in [1,\infty)\), the Besov space \(B^{2\theta}_{pp}(\Omega)\) is defined by \[ B^{2\theta}_{pp}(\Omega) = \{f\in D'(\Omega): \exists g \in B^{2\theta}_{pp}(R^n),\;g| _\Omega=f\}, \] where \[ B^{2\theta}_{pp}(R^n)=\left\{f: | | f| | _p+ \left\{\int_{R^n\times R^n} | f(x)-f(y)| ^p/| x-y| ^{n+2\theta p}dx dy\right\}^{1/p}<\infty\right\}. \] By using a relation of the potential \(G\mu\) of \(X_t\) with the \(\Gamma\)-potential, the author proves that \(G\mu \in B^{2\theta}_{pp}(\Omega)\) for every \(p<n/(n-2+2\theta)\) and finite positive measure \(\mu \) on \(\Omega\). As an application of this result, the gauge function or more generally every bounded solution \(u\) of the Schrödinger equation \((q+\Delta/2)u=-f\) for a Kato class function \(q\) and \(f \in L^1(\Omega)\) is shown to be a sum of a harmonic function and a function of \(B^{2\theta}_{pp}(\Omega)\).
