Following the work in their paper [Math. Magazine 68, 254-268 (1995; Zbl 0869.51007)], the authors present two Menelaus-type results on \(n\)-gons (n \(\geq \) 3) on the affine plane. In their proofs, variations on the area principle play an important role.
