    The author considers the direct decomposition of the Clifford valued Banach space \(L_p(G)\) \((1>p<\infty)\) \[ L_p(G)= (\ker D)(G)\cap L_p(G)\oplus D(\mathring W^1_p(G)), \] where \(G\) is a bounded domain in \(\mathbb{R}^n\) and \(D\) the Dirac operator \[ D:= \sum^n_{i=1} e_i\partial_i \] with \(e_i e_j+ e_j e_i= -2\delta_{ij} e_0\), \(e^2_0= e_0\). This result generalizes a former theorem of the Clifford valued Hilbert space \(L_2(G)\). [cf. \textit{K. Gürlebeck} and \textit{W. Sprößig}, Quaternionic and Clifford calculus for physicists and engineers (1997; Zbl 0897.30023)]. The corresponding complex result was obtained in 1994 by Ju. A. Dubinskij.
