\textit{A. V. Arhangel'skii} and \textit{R. Z. Buzyakova} [Commentat. Math. Univ. Carol. 47, No. 4, 585--597 (2006; Zbl 1150.54335)] proved that there exists a Tychonoff Moore space that is separable, nonsubmetrizable, and has a diagonal of the rank exactly \(3\) and raised a conjecture that ``for every natural number \(n\) there is a Tychonoff space \(X_n\) with a rank \(n\)-diagonal that is not a rank \(n + 1\)-diagonal''. The authors of the paper under review and others have proved that for every natural number \(n\geq 4\), there exists a Tychonoff Moore space, other than Mrówka space, with a diagonal of the rank exactly \(n\) even with a zero-set diagonal [\textit{Y. Gao} et al., Quest. Answers Gen. Topology 26, No. 1, 53--57 (2008; Zbl 1144.54013); \textit{Y. Gao} and \textit{L. Mou}, Topology Appl. 256, 177--182 (2019; Zbl 1410.54030); \textit{Y. Zuoming} and \textit{Y. Ziqiu}, Topology Appl. 157, No. 6, 1011--1014 (2010; Zbl 1190.54018)]. In the paper under review the authors consider Arhangel'skii and Buzyakova's conjecture in Mrówka spaces and prove that for each natural number \(n \geq 3\), there exists a Mrówka space with a diagonal of the rank exactly \(n\). The authors also construct a non-submetrizable separable Moore space with a diagonal of infinite rank.
