Let \(A\) be some class of algebraic groups. By the minimal groups of class \(A\) we mean those groups from \(A\) which do not contain proper connected closed subgroups from \(A\). The importance of this concept is explained by the fact that the analysis of minimal groups serves as the first step on the path to analyzing a certain class of algebraic groups. In this paper there are studied minimal connected solvable algebraic groups with a finite center without a decomposability condition, that is, those connected solvable algebraic groups with a finite center which do not have proper connected subgroups with a finite center. Groups with such properties are called simply minimal.
