The authors compute the cyclic homology of \(A=k[X]/\langle X^ n\rangle\) for an arbitrary commutative ring \(k\). This is applied to compute the cyclic homology of \(k[X]/\langle f\rangle\) when \(k\) is a field and \(f\) is an arbitrary polynomial.
