Let \(G\) be a group generated by a normal set \(D\) of 3-transpositions. In his fundamental papers [Univ. Warwick lecture notes (1969), Invent. Math. 13, 232-246 (1971; Zbl 0232.20040)] \textit{B. Fischer} showed in particular, that normal solvable subgroups must be essentially either 2- or 3-groups. In [Proc. Lond. Math. Soc., III. Ser. 58, 89-111, 112-136 (1989; Zbl 0673.20015 and Zbl 0669.20024)] the author of the paper under review investigated groups \(G\) with trivial center and nontrivial normal 2-subgroups. If one associates in the usual way with \(D\) a graph, then subsets corresponding to triangles generate a homomorphic image of \(S_ 4\) or of \(SU(3,2)'\). In the predecessors to this paper the author handled the situation, where every triangle corresponds to an \(S_ 4\). This time he finishes his work handling the case where also triangles of type \(SU(3,2)'\) occur. He classifies the group \(G/O_ 2(G)\), the ``module'' \(O_ 2(G)\), and determines splitting or nonsplitting. Closely related to this paper is some work of \textit{F. Zara} [Geom. Dedicata 25, 503-512 (1988; Zbl 0637.20011)].
