In these notes the author treats a one dimensional chain of \(N\) oscillators, whose left and right ends are in contact with two heat baths of different temperatures. For the system of stochastic Hamiltonian equations existence and uniqueness of the solution, as well as for the unique invariant probability measure are established, where the latter enjoys the typical exponential approximation by the solution semigroup. These results stay also true in an unpinned system considering a nonstandard moment exchanging noise instead. At the end of the paper the so-called Lefevere-Schenkel system is carried out as an application. The proof base on a Lyapunov function technique by Rey-Bellet and coauthors.
