Certain condition on the second fundamental form of CR submanifolds of maximal CR dimension of complex Euclidean space (Q2431742): Difference between revisions

The present paper, using the results of \textit{K. Tashiro} [Sugaku 16, 34--61 (1961)], deals with \(m\)-dimensional real submanifolds \(M\) of complex space forms \(\overline M\) such that the maximal holomorphic tangent subspace is \((m-1)\)-dimensional, equipped with an almost contact metric structure \(F\), naturally induced by the Hermitian structure on \(M\). The authors extend earlier results worked out in the case of complex projective space, by studying CR submanifolds of maximal CR dimension in complex Euclidean space, with the condition \(h(FX, Y)- h(X, FY)= g(FX, Y)\eta\), \(\eta\in T^\perp(M)\) and give a complete classification of these submanifolds.
