The author studies estimates of the type \[ \|\sigma(x, D)f\|_{L^p}\leq C\| f\|_{H^p}, \] where \(L^p(\mathbb{R}^n)\) are the Lebesgue spaces and \(H^p(\mathbb{R}^n)\) the Hardy spaces, with \(0< p<\infty\). First, a certain expression is given for the constant \(C\) in the estimates, in the case when the Fourier transform of the symbol \(\sigma(x,\eta)\), with respect to all the \(2n\) variables \(x, \eta\), has compact support in a box of \(\mathbb{R}^{2n}\). By partitions of unity, globally defined symbols \(\sigma(x,\eta)\) are then considered; the author deduces that \(\sigma(x,D)\) is bounded from \(H^p(\mathbb{R}^n)\) to \(L^p(\mathbb{R}^n)\) with \(0< p<\infty\), if \(\sigma(x,\eta)\) belongs to suitable Besov spaces or modulation spaces. For related results, see \textit{M. Kobayashi}, \textit{M. Sugimoto} and the author [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 350, No.~1, 157--169 (2009; Zbl 1153.47041)].
