Motivated by the works of J. Hadamard, G. Hedlund and M. Morse, the idea of associating symbolic infinite words with dynamical systems coming from geometry, number theory or mechanics has attached much interest. Indeed, one is also interested in the converse; namely to give geometric representations to infinite words generated in an algebraic or combinatorial way. Stepped surfaces and Rauzy fractals are in fact geometric realization of certain minimal, uniquely ergodic, zero-entropy symbolic dynamical systems. In the present article, a technique to construct/approximate stepped surfaces and Rauzy fractals induced from automorphisms (associated with unimodular Pisot substitutions) on the free group of rank \(2\) is provided.
