The subject of this paper is to prove the existence of periodic solutions with prescribed energy for a class of second order Hamiltonian systems, including the \(N\)-body problem. The theorems A and B cover the case of the \(N\)-body problem. Their proofs are based upon critical point theory. The authors state that they do not know any result in the large concerning the existence of trajectories with prescribed energy.
