Summary: For an arbitrary open subset \(U \subset \mathbb R^d\) or \(U \subseteq \mathbb C^d\) and a continuous function \(v : U \to]0, \infty[\), we show that the space \(h_{v_0}(U)\) of weighted harmonic functions is almost isometric to a (closed) subspace of \(c_0\), thus extending a theorem due to \textit{J. Bonet} and \textit{E. Wolf} [Arch. Math. 81, No.~6, 650--654 (2003; Zbl 1047.46018)] for spaces of holomorphic functions \(H_{v_0}(U)\) on open sets \(U \subset \mathbb C^d\). Inspired by recent work of \textit{C. Boyd} and \textit{P. Rueda} [Ann. Acad. Sci. Fenn., Math. 30, No.~2, 337--352 (2005; Zbl 1090.46018)], we characterize in terms of the extremal points of the dual of \(h_{v_0}(U)\) when \(h_{v_0}(U)\) is isometric to a subspace of \(c_0\). Some geometric conditions on an open set \(U \subseteq \mathbb C^d\) and convexity conditions on a weight \(v\) on \(U\) are given to ensure that neither \(H_{v_0}(U)\) nor \(h_{v_0}(U)\) are rotund.
