    Let \(\mathbb{D}=\{|z|<1\}\), \(dA(z)=\frac{dxdy}{\pi}\) (\(z=x+iy\)) be the normalized Lebesgue area measure, and let \(d\lambda (z)=\frac{dA(z)}{(1-|z|^2)^2}\). It is known that under the Bergman projection \(P\), \[ Pf(z)=\int _\mathbb{D}\frac{f(w)dA(w)}{(1-z\bar{w})^2}, \] the spaces \(L^p_\lambda\) determined by the norm \[ \|f\|_{p,\lambda}=\Big\{ \int _\mathbb{D}|f(z)|^pd\lambda (z)\Big\} ^{1/p}, \] \(p\in [1,\infty )\), are mapped onto the Besov spaces \(B_p\). In particular, \(B_1\) can be defined in terms of the seminorm \[ \|f\|=\int _\mathbb{D}|f''(z)| dA(z). \] The author proves that the inequality \(\|Pf\| \leq 6 \|f\|_{1,\lambda}\) is sharp. Then the author introduces the more general operator \(P_\alpha\), \(\alpha >-2\), \[ P_\alpha f(z)=\int_ \mathbb{D}\frac{(1-|w|^2)^\alpha f(w)dA(w)}{(1-z\bar{w})^{2+\alpha}} \] for \(f\in L^1_\lambda\), and proves that the operator \(P_\alpha\) is bounded \(L^1_\lambda \rightarrow B_1\) and that the inequality \[ \| P_\alpha f\| \leq \frac{\Gamma (4+\alpha)}{\Gamma (2+\alpha /2)^2}\| f\|_{1,\lambda} \] is sharp.
