The author develops a method of generalized quasilinearization for nonlinear differential equations \[ -x''(t)=f(t,x,x'),\quad t\in[0,1] \] subject to general separated boundary conditions \[ p_{0}x(0)-q_{0}x'(0)=a,\quad p_{1}x(1)-q_{1}x'(1)=b. \] By establishing a linear iteration scheme to obtain a monotone sequence of solutions converging uniformly and quadratically with respect to the \(C^{1}\) norm to a solution of the problem. The author's work contains the works of \textit{P. W. Eloe} and \textit{Y. Zhang} [Nonlinear Anal., Theory Methods Appl. 33, No. 5, 443--453 (1998; Zbl 0939.34019)], and \textit{R. N. Mohapatra} et al. [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 214, No. 1, 55--62 (1997; Zbl 0893.34015)] as special cases.
