In his papers [Ark. Mat. 51, No.~2, 345--361 (2013; Zbl 1283.46011); Math. Scand. 121, No.~1, 151--160 (2017; Zbl 1434.46008)], \textit{K.~M. Perfekt} developed an elegant framework to discuss the biduality between function or sequence spaces \(E_0\) and \(E\) that are defined in terms of a little-\(o\)- or big-\(O\)-condition (see the papers above for details). These conditions involve subsets \(\mathscr L \subset L(X,Y)\) for some auxiliary Banach spaces \(X\) and~\(Y\). In the paper under review, the author shows that one can achieve Perfekt's conclusions by choosing \(Y=\mathbb R\) and a suitable subset \(\mathscr L\subset X^*\).
