This paper concerns Banach spaces \(C_{0}(K)\) of continuous functions with few operators, where \(K\) is a locally compact Hausdorff space of the form \([0, \alpha] \times L\). Here, \([0, \alpha]\) denotes the interval of ordinal numbers not exceeding a countable ordinal \(\alpha\), endowed with the order topology. These spaces are denoted by \(C_{0}(\alpha \times L)\) and in the case where \(K=[0, \alpha]\) by \(C_{0}(\alpha)\). Inspired by \textit{L. Candido} and \textit{P. Koszmider} [Stud. Math. 233, No. 3, 209--226 (2016; Zbl 1366.46008)] and under the assumption of Ostaszewski's \(\clubsuit\)-principle, it is proven that there exists a locally compact Hausdorff space \(L\) such that every operator on \(C_{0}(\alpha \times L)\) has the form \(R_{L} +S\), where \(R_{L}: C_{0}(\alpha \times L) \to C_{0}(\alpha \times L)\), given by the formula \(R_{L}(f)(x,y)=R(f^{y})(x)\), is the lifting of an operator \(R: C_{0}(\alpha) \to C_{0}(\alpha)\) and \(S\) has separable image. Finally, the geometry of such a space \(C_{0}(\alpha \times L)\) is investigated and all its complemented subspaces are classified up to isomorphism.
