The authors consider the nonsmooth van der Pol-Duffing oscillator, obtain the bifurcation diagram and determine all global phase portraits in the Poincaré disc. The work about the global dynamics of the nonsmooth van der Pol-Duffing oscillator is different from the van der Pol-Duffing oscillator. The obtained results are very interesting and inspiring.
