Let \(\pi : E \rightarrow M\) be a Lagrangian fiber bundle i.e. \(\pi : E \rightarrow M\) is a smooth fiber bundle, \(E\) is symplectic and the fibers are Lagrangian submanifolds of \(E\). Let \(L\) be an embedded Lagrangian submanifold of \(E\). The restriction of \(\pi\) to \(L\) is called the Lagrangian projection of \(L\) and the singularities of this mapping are called the Lagrangian singularities of \(L\). The author shows that all the Lagrangian singularities higher folds can be killed by a \(C^0\)-small Hamiltonian isotopy maybe at the expense of creating additional folds, provided that there is no formal obstruction for such a homotopy. The result is proved in the case when \(L\) is a closed-orientable 2-dimensional surface and the weaker version of the statement is proved in higher-dimensional case. Similar results hold in contact category. The author proves the results using the methods which originate from \textit{Ya. Eliashberg} [Math. USSR, Izv. 6, 1302-1326 (1972); translation from Izv. Akad. Nauk SSSR, Ser. Mat. 36, 1321-1347(1972; Zbl 0273.57014)].
