The study is devoted to the development of a method of integral equations for solution of three-dimensional problems of elasticity theory for piecewise-homogeneous bodies with cracks. The simplest piecewise- homogeneous body consisting of two different half spaces, each of which is weakened by plane arbitrarily disposed cracks, is discussed. The problem is reduced to integral singular equations, whose regular kernels account for interaction between cracks through the interface between media.
