Recall that an \(H\)-surface is a surface having constant mean curvature \(H\). The following two nice results are proved: (1) Let \(\Gamma \subset \mathbb{H}^{n+1}\) (or \(\mathbb{R}^{n+ 1})\), \(n\geq 6\), be a smooth closed codimension two submanifold. Then for \(H\) sufficiently small, there exist at least two small \(H\)-surfaces with boundary \(\Gamma\) (Theorem 2). (2) Let \(\Gamma \subset S(\infty)\) be a smooth closed codimension one submanifold of \(S(\infty)\), the sphere at infinity of \(\mathbb{H}^{n+1}\), and \(0<H<1\). There are at least two \(H\)-chains in \(\mathbb{H}^{n +1}\) with asymptotic boundary \(\Gamma\) (Theorem 3).
