This paper is concerned to the simulation of turbulent flows including: the nonlinear Burgers' problem and its weak formulation; the Galerkin finite element method implementation; an approximate solution computed by the standard Galerkin method in comparison with that provided by a presented multilevel algorithm; a posteriori estimates; the analysis of some numerical results.
