The fibrewise \(P\)-localization of a fibration was performed by \textit{A. K. Bousfield} and \textit{D. M. Kan} [Homotopy limits, completions and localizations, Lect. Notes Math. 304 (1972; Zbl 0259.55004)]. In the paper under review the author constructs the fibrewise rationalization of \(X\to K(\pi_1 (X),1)\) from Postnikov factorizations. This approach was used also by \textit{I. Llerena} in [Math. Z. 188, 397-410 (1985; Zbl 0538.55006)]. The interest of the paper stays in a clear and well documented exposition.
