In the recent paper [the author, ibid. 32, No. 12, 129-143 (1996; Zbl 0871.76053)], three basic schemes, differing through the use of alternative averaging procedures, were extended to apply to the one-dimensional St. Venant equations governing rough-turbulent flow of water in an open channel, and to the two-dimensional shallow water equations. In this companion paper, we present and compare the numerical results obtained when using these schemes on a range of problems.
