The author establishes multiple-series summation theorems that generalize classical summation theorems for very well poised basic and ordinary hypergeometric series due to Bailey \((_6\psi_6)\), Dougall \((_5H_5)\), Rogers \((_6\varphi_5)\), and Dougall \((_5F_4)\). The formulae obtained are different from other recent generalizations. Multiple summation formulae of the Aomoto-Ito type, and \(q\)-Racah polynomials in several variables, are also considered. The results are too long to reproduce here.
