New hypergeometric identities arising from Gauss's second summation theorem (Q1385047): Difference between revisions

Identities involving hypergeometric series have various applications and some of them are led to the solution of long standing open questions. In this paper, the author has obtained a number of hypergeometric identities which are not previously recorded in the literature, and the elementary manipulation of series is applied to obtain a quite general transformation involving hypergeometric functions.
