The action of a compact connected Lie group \(G\) on a Riemannian manifold is polar if there exists a connected submanifold which intersects the \(G\)-orbits orthogonally and meets every orbit. This paper classifies homogeneous spaces of a simple compact Lie group \(G\) such that the natural \(G\)-action is polar with respect to an invariant metric. This is a generalization of the classification of two point homogeneous compact spaces.
